The Roches Building Social and Resource Centre had their Annual Christmas Party in the Country Club on Sunday, 14th. December 2003. This was the fifth 'do' which goes from strength to strength; almost 90 persons attended. Music by Pat Hurley ensured that the revellers had voices raised in unison and their feet tapping. Sr. Patrica (left) paid tribute to all those who worked tirelessly for the 'Centre', and in particular asked for special mention for Mrs. Mary O'Shea, Mr. Danny Cullinane and Mr. Ciaran Black, who were unable to attend due to illness, and in her own words, 'were the persons who, from the first days of the 'Centre' helped me get it off the ground'. But in general, she sends her thanks to 'all who gave of their labour and encouragement'.
